What time are the public skating sessions at Hommocks Park Ice Rink?
October 1 – June 12
Public skating sessions are held on Sundays from 11:00 A.M. to 5:15 P.M.; Mondays from 12:30 to 2:30 P.M.; Tuesdays from 1:00 to 5:15 P.M.; Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00 to 5:15 P.M. and Fridays evenings from 7:15 to 9:15 P.M. Residents holding a valid pool, tennis or rink identification card will receive a discounted admission.
What are public swimming hours at Hommocks Pool?
Hommocks Pool is open to members of the community, who hold valid pool passes. Winter Schedule:
Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings from 7:00 to 9:40 P.M.
Tuesday & Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:40 P.M.
Saturday & Sunday from noon to 6:40 P.M.Summer Schedule:
Monday through Friday from noon to 8:40 P.M.
Saturday & Sunday from 10:00 A.M. to 8:40 P.M.
How do I obtain a pass to use the Hommocks Pool, Hommocks Park Ice Rink, or Memorial Park Tennis Courts?
Any resident wishing to obtain a permit for either Hommocks Pool, Hommocks Park Ice Rink or Memorial Tennis Courts must appear in person at the Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Office Monday through Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. or the first and third Wednesday of the month from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. from November to March and every Wednesday evening starting April through November from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
Two valid proofs of residency are required at the time of registration.
How do I arrange to have a birthday party at the Hommocks Park Ice Rink?
Special birthday packages are available including ice time, skate rentals and a meal for all guests. Meals are prepared by rink concessionaire, Slap Shot Café. Advanced reservations are required with a non-refundable $40.00 deposit. Contact the Rink directly at 834-1069 for available dates and details.
What day camps are available to Town residents?
The Town of Mamaroneck Recreation Department operates a Playground Program at the Hommocks Park Ice Rink for children entering 1st grade in the fall to age 12; 2 Pre-School Programs and a Music Workshop. A Tennis Camp held at Central School Tennis Courts and Soccer Camp held at the Carpino-Steffens Fields are also available.
How do I register for Town Recreation programs?
Registration is taken on a first come, first served basis in person Only at the Recreation Office of the Town Center. Click on the current Recreation Brochure on the web for more details regarding program registration.
How can I rent the community Room at the Hommocks Park Ice Rink?
Facility use applications are available at the Hommocks Park Ice Rink, Recreation Department Office and are downloadable from the website.
A not-for-profit organization renting the room will be charged $150 for the first four hours and $25 for each additional hour. Private parties will be charged $200 for the first four hours and $25 for each additional hour.
