Plant a Tree to Honor or Memorialize Someone Special
The Trees for Our Town Program was created to give people an opportunity to participate in Mamaroneck's community forestry efforts. Trees for Our Town creates a public/private partnership where donated dollars, in conjunction with the Town's dollars, planting and maintenance, help to ensure that our Town remains green and filled with trees for future generations. Donating a tree is a special way to memorialize a special person or commemorate a birthday, anniversary, or occasion. Additional information on the Trees for Our Town Program can be downloaded below.

Tree Preservation Commission
The Tree Preservation Commission advises the Town Board in the selection, purchase and planting of trees and shrubs on municipal property and maintains an inventory and management plan for the maintenance of the Town's tree population. The Commission consists of the Environmental Coordinator, the Building Inspector and the Highway Superintendent. The commission approves all Tree Removal Permits and recommends any required replacement trees.

Coastal Zone Management Commission
The Coastal Zone Management Commission (CZMC) is an 11member, bi-municipal commission responsible for coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the Town of Mamaroneck-Village of Larchmont Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (LWRP). CZMC maintains liaisons with the Planning Boards, Zoning Boards and other agencies of the Town and Village. The policies of the LWRP can be downloaded below.

The tract features intertwining trails that provide a wonderful walk through various mini-ecosystems.
