Town Clerk

In order to hold a garage sale, yard sale, or tag sale in the Town of Mamaroneck, residents must first obtain a "Permit for Garage and Yard Sales" from the Town Clerk.
The permit fee is $20.

Garage Sale Application - apply to have a garage, yard, or tag sale

Once approved, the Town Clerk will provide you with four official sales information signs.
These signs:

• Can only be posted within the Unincorporated Areas of the Town of Mamaroneck
• May be posted up to 48 hours prior to the date of the sale
• Must be taken down 24 hours after the sale is complete

Residents may hold one garage sale per calendar year. Each garage sale may be held for up to three consecutive days.
