Proposed and Approved PHA and Administrative Plans
The Public Housing Agency Plan is a comprehensive guide to PHA policies, programs, operations, and strategies for meeting local housing needs and goals. The completed plan is submitted to HUD every 5 years, and updated annually to address progress toward those goals. The plan must be made available for public review and comment at least 45 days prior to a public hearing.
The Town of Mamaroneck PHA makes the draft plan available to the public in mid‐August for review and submission of comments, and the final plan is approved following the public hearing which is scheduled annually in early October. The final plan must be approved by the Town Board as the governing body of the Town of Mamaroneck PHA. The approved plan must be submitted to HUD no later than 75 days prior to the start of the Town of Mamaroneck PHA's fiscal year which begins on January 1.
