Lunch!

The Senior Nutrition Site provides a hot lunch or a sandwich weekdays at noon to senior citizens ages 60 and older. Any senior citizen who would like to participate in the Senior Nutrition Lunch Program must first register at the Senior Center. Round trip curb‐to‐curb transportation is available to residents of the Town of Mamaroneck, Village of Mamaroneck and Village of Larchmont on the Senior Bus.

For home‐bound senior citizens who are unable to travel to the Senior Center, the Town of Mamaroneck offers a Meals on Wheels service.

Cost of the Meal

The full cost of the daily meal is $4.75 per day*. A minimum suggested contribution of $3 per meal is requested.  Contributions are voluntary.  If you are unable to meet the suggested contribution, we ask that you contribute whatever amount you feel you can afford.  Contributions are made anonymously and no one will be denied a meal due to the inability or unwillingness to pay.  All contributions are required to go back into the nutrition program and are used to help pay for the cost of the meal as well as other meal program expenses.  *Special events may cost a little more.

Any participant under the age of 60 must pay the full cost of the meal. Identification may be required for proof of age.

The Senior Nutrition Program is funded in part through the Town of Mamaroneck and through a grant from the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services, the New York state Office for Aging and the US Administration on Aging.  For more information, please visit  Westchester County Senior Programs and Services
